I was travelling backwards and forwards to Washington DC a few years ago. That’s probably not considered a long haul flight by many, but it was plenty long enough for me.
To begin with, within days of landing I’d have some kind of respiratory system bug – a cough, a cold, a sore throat – you know the type of thing.
A friend tipped me off about this juicer recipe which I drank before the flight and during the flight. Now, it may well have been coincidence or even a psychosomatic response, but I can tell you that never again did I go down with a bug after flying!
Try it and see for yourself.
Large pineapple (peeled and with the tufty leaves removed)
6 Kiwi fruit
All processed through the juicer and stored in an air tight container until ready to drink. Do not keep for more than one day before drinking.
NB Do be careful with this juice as some people are allergic to Pineapples and Kiwi fruits! If that’s the case substitute with Papaya and Oranges.
